ประวัติพระครูวิสิฐชัยคุณ (หลวงพ่อเกาะ อาภากโร) เจ้าอาวาส วัดท่าสมอ เจ้าคณะตำบล บางขุด อ. สรรคบุรี จ. ชัยนาท ท่านเป็นบุคคลผู้ขยันขันแข็ง ขวนขวายทำงานช่วยครอบครัวเป็นอย่างมาก ได้อุปสมบท เมื่อ พ.ศ.2508 เป็นพระภิกษุ และได้กราบเรียนศึกษาวิชากับ หลวงพ่อกวย วัดโฆษิตาราม พระเกจิผู้วิเศษแห่งเมืองสรรคบุรี จ.ชัยนาท ศึกษาวิชาและตำราไสยเวทย์ต่างๆมากมาย ทั้งวิชาทางด้าน แคล้วคลาด คงกระพัน มหาอุด หยุดลูกปืน อีกทั้งวิชาหนุมานผู้มีฤทธิ์ ฆ่าไม่ตาย ทั้งวิชาสิงห์ วิชาเสริมดวง เมตตามหานิยม โชคลาภค้าขาย และอีกหลายๆวิชา

ท่านเคยเล่าว่า สมัยก่อนวิชาส่วนใหญ่ที่จะได้รับมักได้จากการ พูดกล่าวให้ฟัง ให้ท่อง และจำจนขึ้นใจจนแม่นยำ ทั้งเคล็ดวิชา เพื่อให้นำไปฝึกต่อ ต้องขยันหมั่นฝึกต่อวิชากันอย่างเต็มที่ และท่านได้วิชาจากองค์หลวงพ่อกวยมามากมาย ต่อมาท่านได้ลาสิกขาเพื่อดูแล บิดา มารดา ของท่านด้วยความตั้งใจเป็นอย่างดี และท่านได้กลับมาอุปสมบทอีกครั้งเมื่อ พ.ศ.2515 ที่วัดใหม่บำเพ็ญบุญ จ.ชัยนาท โดยมี “พระครูสรรคภาวิชิต” เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ “หลวงพ่อเชื้อ วัดใหม่บำเพ็ญบุญ” เป็นกรรมวาจาจารย์ “หลวงพ่อเหลือ” เป็นพระอนุศาสนาจารย์ และได้จำพรรษาอยู่ที่ วัดท่าสมอ

หลวงพ่อเกาะ ศึกษาต่อวิชากับพระเกจิอาจารย์เรืองวิชามากมายอีกหลายท่าน ทั้งหลวงพ่อเชื้อ วัดใหม่บำเพ็ญบุญ , หลวงพ่อโก๊ะ วัดลาดสาลี่ , หลวงพ่อพริ้ง วัดโบสถ์โก่งธนู และคณาจารย์อีกหลายท่านมากมาย แต่ละท่านล้วนมากอาคมเก่งวิชายิ่งนัก ในลำดับต่อมาท่านได้รับตราตั้งเป็น เจ้าอาวาส วัดท่าสมอ และท่านก็ตั้งใจพัฒนาวัดท่าสมอ จนเจริญรุ่งเรืองมาจนถึงปัจจุบันนี้

วัตถุมงคลแต่ละรุ่นของท่าน ท่านตั้งใจปลุกเสกเป็นอย่างดี เต็มที่เต็มกำลัง อย่างตั้งใจเสมอ ด้วยจิตมั่น ผู้ใดได้ไว้ครอบครองบูชา ต่างได้รับประสบการณ์มากมาย ทั้งเมตตา มหานิยม ค้าขาย ทำมาหากินเจริญรุ่งเรือง อีกทั้งแคล้วคลาด คงกระพัน กันอาวุธ และมีหลายครั้งที่ลูกศิษย์มักเจอประสบการณ์หยุดลูกปืนด้วยเจอกับตัวเองเสมอ ทั้งโดนยิงแต่ไม่เข้า หรือแม้แต่ถูกยิงแต่ปืนยิงไม่ออกก็เคยมีมาแล้วหลายท่าน

ลูกศิษย์ของหลวงพ่อเกาะมีมากมาย ทั้งข้าราชการ พ่อค้าแม่ขาย เจ้าหน้าที่ทั้งตำรวจและทหาร มีแทบทุกจังหวัด โดยเฉพาะจังหวัดชัยนาทเป็นที่รู้จักในกิตติศัพท์ของหลวงพ่อเป็นอย่างดี แต่ละวันมักมีผู้มาบูชาวัตถุมงคลของท่านไปอาราธนาติดตัวเสมอ ให้เหตุผลว่าของที่หลวงพ่อเกาะ ท่านประสิทธิ์ไว้ใช้ได้ดีจริง

Lion Emblem Phra Somdej by Phra Khru Wisitchaikun (Luang Por Koh Aphakaro), Wat Tha Samo, Chai Nat Province.

The biography of Phra Khru Wisitchaikun (Luang Por Koh Aphakaro), abbot of Wat Tha Samo and chief monk of Bang Khut Subdistrict, Sankhaburi District, Chai Nat Province, is known for his diligence and commitment to helping his family. He was ordained as a monk in 1965 (B.E. 2508) and studied sacred knowledge under Luang Por Kuay of Wat Kositaram, a renowned monk from Sankhaburi, Chai Nat Province. He studied and mastered numerous magic subjects, including invulnerability, impenetrability, stopping bullets, Hanuman subject, Lion subject, luck enhancement, loving-kindness, and prosperity.

Luang Por Koh often shared that, in the past, teachings were passed down orally, requiring students to memorize and diligently practice to attain proficiency. He gained extensive knowledge from Luang Por Khuay, among others. Later, he temporarily left monkhood to care for his parents but was re-ordained in 1972 (B.E. 2515) at Wat Mai Bamphen Bun, Chai Nat. His re-ordination was presided over by Phra Khru Sangkaphawichit as the preceptor, Luang Por Chuea of Wat Mai Bamphen Bun as the teaching monk, and Luang Por Luea as the instructing monk. He then resided at Wat Tha Samo.

Luang Por Koh continued his studies with several renowned masters, including Luang Por Chuea (Wat Mai Bamphen Bun), Luang Por Ko (Wat Lat Sali), Luang Por Phring (Wat Bot Kong Thanu), and other highly revered teachers. Each mentor imparted exceptional spiritual and mystical teachings. In due course, Luang Por Koh was appointed abbot of Wat Tha Samo. He has dedicated himself to the temple's development, leading it to its present prosperity.

The amulets he has consecrated are highly regarded, as he invests immense focus and spiritual intent in their creation. Those who possess his amulets report blessings of loving-kindness, prosperity, safety, and even miraculous survival from bullets. Believers have shared experiences such as being shot without injury or guns failing to fire. Believers of Luang Por Koh include government officials, merchants, police, and soldiers from across Thailand, especially in Chai Nat Province, where he is highly revered. Each day, many believers visit Wat Tha Samo to acquire his amulets, trusting in their proven spiritual efficacy.

Luang Por Koh has consecrated the Lion Emblem Phra Somdej, a powerful sacred amulet. The front features the image of Phra Somdej seated on a lion pedestal, while the back has a lion emblem. The amulet is adorned with multicolored gemstones, embedded with Takruds with stamped codes, and has a code number. Luang Por Koh meticulously meditated and blessed the amulets for several days and nights, ensuring their spiritual potency. “Lion Emblem Phra Somdej” offers comprehensive blessings: loving-kindness, charm, wealth, safety, and prosperity. The lion symbolizes authority, strength, and victory over enemies, while also enhancing charm and charisma.

Materials Used: Red Soapwort Root (for invulnerability), Dried Flower Powder and Various Auspicious Herbs (for luck and blessings), Sacred Powders from old and damaged Buddha images, Burnt Palm-leaf Scriptures, Sacred Soil from various holy sites, Blessed Powders from renowned monks. Whoever possesses and regularly worships it shall prosper with longevity, beauty, health, strength, and wealth.
