One day, he saw an eagle soaring through the clouds and thought, “How I wish I could fly like that”. Eventually, the tortoise met the eagle and begged him: “Please, teach me how to fly”. The eagle replied, “That’s impossible. You don’t have wings like I do”. But the tortoise refused to listen. He was stubborn and confident. “I’ll find a way to fly, you’ll see”. So the eagle gave in. He gripped the tortoise’s shell tightly with his talons and lifted him into the sky, soaring higher and higher, just as the tortoise had dreamed. After a while, the tortoise, feeling bold and proud, said, “You can let go now, I believe I can fly on my own”. The eagle refused. “No. You’ll fall. You weren’t made to fly”. But the tortoise wouldn’t listen. He struggled and twisted until he finally broke free from the eagle’s grasp. For a brief moment, he felt triumphant. But in the very next moment, he realized he was falling very fast. There was no time to fix his mistake. And as he plummeted toward the ground, he finally understood the truth, but it was too late. The tortoise crashed into the earth, and that was the end of him. The Moral Of The Story: Don’t try to do things beyond your nature, or you may end up hurting yourself.
