ท่านว่า “เพราะขณะที่อยู่หน้าพระ เราต้องสำรวมกาย, วาจา, ใจ ตาก็มองพระหรือมองเทวรูปบนหิ้ง เป็นพุทธานุสติ เทวานุสติ สวดมนต์สรรเสริญ พระพุทธเจ้า เป็นมงคลแก่ตัวเราและบ้านเรือน เทวดายินดี สวดให้มากเดี๋ยวศีล, สติ, สมาธิ, ปัญญาก็มาเอง ความชุ่มชื่นใจก็บังเกิดสิ่งนั้นเรียกว่าบุญ ทำไปเถิด”
