When Wat Bangkutithong was in the process of dismantling or relocating the ordination hall, the temple discovered several Buddha statues buried underground. These statues were broken and damaged into several pieces. Luang Por Chamnan instructed that the statues be brought up and restored. The damaged parts were carefully reassembled to form complete Buddha statues. As for the powder or small fragments that could not be repaired, Luang Por Chamnan used them as materials to create the amulets of this Prince Chumphon Phra Pidta. The materials used in this edition are truly exceptional and have a long history. They were buried under the ordination hall for many years, undergoing countless important ceremonies, including ordination rites, blessing ceremonies, and several Buddha consecration ceremonies, spanning almost 100 years. Luang Por Chamnan chose to use the Phra Pidta Phim Krom Luang Chumphon as the model for this edition because, as his disciples well know, one of his five revered teachers was "Luang Pu Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao," who was deeply revered by "His Royal Highness Prince Chumphon Khet Udomsak (Sadet Tia, Krom Luang Chumphon)." The prince held a deep faith in Luang Pu Suk and even entrusted him as his spiritual teacher. Thus, Luang Por Chamnan used these sacred materials to create the Phra Pidta amulet in the same mold that was once made by Prince Chumphon for Luang Pu Suk. The amulet was made entirely from the old materials, with just enough binding agent added to hold the ingredients together using lime. The back of each piece bears a lotus flower symbol as a mark of authenticity. Only about one monk's alms bowl worth of these Prince Chumphon Phra Pidta was created. In 2013, when the amulets were first released, Luang Por Chamnan distributed them to those who made monk's offerings (2,000 baht) for the temple, and they would receive one Prince Chumphon Phra Pidta in return. When Luang Por Chamnan gave the Prince Chumphon Phra Pidta to those who came to make offerings, he said, "Whatever you wish for, make a wish. During this ceremony, a miraculous event occurred in front of the attendees: the sky became overcast, as if it were about to rain, but no rain fell. It is believed that when such an event happens during a consecration, the amulets blessed in that ceremony will have the power to stop storms and rain, protecting the fate and life of the wearer, preventing them from falling or suffering misfortune. It can be said that the amulets blessed in this Buddha consecration ceremony are very significant. If regularly worshipped, they will enhance one's fortune and support their destiny. Moreover, being in the form of a Phra Pidta, it is believed to also bring prosperity and good luck. Therefore, this Prince Chumphon Phra Pidta is special both in terms of its materials and the blessing ceremony it underwent.
