พญามัจจุราช หรือ พญายมราช เทพเจ้าแห่งความตาย ผู้เป็นราชาแห่งยมโลก และทรงเป็นเทพผู้ควบคุมชีวิตและความตายของสรรพสัตว์ สำหรับรุ่นนี้นับเป็นครั้งแรกของสายใต้ที่มีการจัดสร้างในรูปแบบ "ลอยองค์" ภายใต้นามของศิษย์อาวุโสจากสำนักตักศิลามหาเวทย์เขาอ้อ โดย อาจารย์เปลี่ยน หัทยานนท์ ผู้สืบทอดสรรพวิชาเวทมนตร์คาถาจากพระอาจารย์ปาน วัดเขาอ้อ

การสร้างครั้งนี้นับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญ เพราะแต่เดิมนั้น พญามัจจุราชมักจะถูกจัดสร้างในรูปแบบองค์บูชาขนาดใหญ่ ไม่ค่อยพบการสร้างในพิมพ์ลอยองค์ ดังนั้นในการจัดสร้างครั้งนี้ จึงได้รวบรวมชนวนโลหะศักดิ์สิทธิ์จากครูบาอาจารย์ทั่วทุกภูมิภาค ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเหนือ อีสาน กลาง ใต้ รวมถึงชนวนโลหะจากการหล่อพระประธานตามวัดวาอารามต่าง ๆ ซึ่งล้วนเป็นวัตถุมงคลที่อัดแน่นด้วยพุทธคุณและพลังอำนาจ

ท้าวพญามัจจุราช มีหน้าที่สอดส่องดูแลมนุษย์โลก สามารถตรวจดวงชะตาได้ว่าใครถึงฆาตหรือยังไม่ถึงฆาต ดวงกำลังดีหรือกำลังตก หากผู้ใดดวงตก ท่านสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงและแก้ไขชะตากรรมให้ดีขึ้นได้ โดยเฉพาะกับผู้ที่ประพฤติกรรมดี ละเว้นกรรมชั่ว เพราะท้าวพญามัจจุราชจะให้กุมภัณฑ์ทั้งสอง ได้แก่ สุวรรณ ผู้มีหน้าที่ตรวจบัญชีบุญ และ สุวาน ผู้มีหน้าที่จดบัญชีบาป เป็นผู้จดบันทึกไว้ ไม่ว่ากรรมดีหรือกรรมชั่ว ล้วนไม่อาจหลุดพ้นสายตาของท่านไปได้

ผู้บูชาท้าวพญามัจจุราชจะมีอายุยืน ปลอดภัยจากโรคภัยไข้เจ็บ และไม่ถูกรบกวนจากภูตผีวิญญาณร้าย แม้จะเผลอไปบูชาของไม่ดี หรือโดนคุณไสย ก็สามารถพกองค์นี้ติดตัวไว้เพื่อป้องกันและขับไล่สิ่งอัปมงคล เพราะท่านเป็นจ้าวแห่งวิญญาณ ดังนั้นสิ่งต่ำช้าใด ๆ ย่อมไม่กล้ากล้ำกราย

ข้อสำคัญ: ควรแขวนเหนือระดับเอวเท่านั้น เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลสูงสุด ถือเป็นของมงคลที่ควรค่าแก่การบูชาและสะสมอย่างยิ่ง

พิธีปลุกเสก: จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2561 โดยเกจิอาจารย์สายเขาอ้อ ณ วัดเขาอ้อ และอาจารย์เปลี่ยน หัทยานนท์ ฆราวาสอาวุโสแห่งเขาอ้อ เป็นประธานในพิธีกรรม

Series: The Righteous Deity (Year 2018)

Lord Yama or Lord Yamaraj, is the deity of death and the sovereign ruler of the underworld. He is revered as the divine being who governs the life and death of all living beings. This amulet marks the first time in Southern Thailand that Lord Yama has been created in the form of a cast metal statue by Arjarn Pien Hatthayanon of the Khao Aor Institution. He is a direct successor of the sacred magical knowledge passed down from Phra Arjarn Pan of Wat Khao Aor.

This creation is highly significant, as traditionally, Lord Yama is cast as a large altar statue, and it is rare to find him in a smaller, wearable statue form. For this version, a wide array of sacred metals was collected from revered masters across all regions, North, Northeast, Central, and South, including fragments from the casting of principal Buddha images from various temples. All materials are imbued with sacred power and spiritual energy.

Lord Yama is believed to oversee human lives and determine whether a person’s time has come, whether their destiny is rising or falling. For those facing bad fortune, Lord Yama possesses the power to transform and improve their fate. Especially for those who consistently perform good deeds and avoid evil, Lord Yama assigns two celestial scribes who serve as divine registrars of the dead: Suwan, who records merits, and Suwan, who records misdeeds. Every action, whether good or bad, is recorded and never escapes his divine sight.

Worshippers of Lord Yama are believed to enjoy longevity, protection from illness, and freedom from malevolent spirits. Even if one unknowingly worships inauspicious items or becomes afflicted by dark magic, carrying this sacred image offers powerful protection and repels negative forces. As the sovereign over all spirits, no evil force dares to approach him.

Important Note: Lord Yama should be worn above the waist to receive full blessings of auspiciousness. It is a sacred item of great spiritual merit and is well worth worshipping and collecting.

Consecration Ceremony: Held on February 27, 2018, at Wat Khao Aor, presided over by senior masters of the Khao Aor lineage and Arjarn Pien Hatthayanon, the senior lay master of the tradition.
