From the history of all commemorative coins featuring Luang Por Chamnan, Full Moon Eyes-Covered Coin (Rian Pidta Chan Phen) is the first and only edition that depicts him in a posture covering his eyes, ears, and mouth, a gesture rich in spiritual symbolism. Combined with the shield-like shape of the coin, which resembles a protective emblem, this coin conveys a deep spiritual meaning: to shut out misfortune, sorrow, illness, and danger; to block poverty; to ward off suffering; to silence chaos; and to seal away all forms of evil from the sight and path of the bearer. It serves as a spiritual barrier, offering divine protection and shielding the devotee from all harm.
